My Take Of Romantic Ripples

My Take Of Romantic Ripples on Cake Central

Okay, this is "The Big One" that I've been working on for 2 weeks now. MM fondant, Dream Whip Buttercream icing underneath; 6" bottom rounds, 14-1-6" layers; silk flower arrangements on cake. Sorry the picture is a bit blurry, I didn't have my camera and it's from another person.

WOW jscakes you did a beautiful job at this wedding cake!!!!!!!!!! You are a awsome decorator!!!! Do you mind sharing how much you charged for this? I would say no less then $500 but it deserves a higher price!! Wonderful!!

Thank you for the compliments, I made a typo, middle layer is 10". The charge...this was for a friend, she supplied the ingredients and I supplied the cake. Time, 2 weeks with long hours on the fondant and icing, my guess would be too many hours to count!

An absolutely gorgeous cake! Can you tell me what the pillars support system you used is called? I love the "crystal" look, and not seeing any plates.

THANK YOU ALL!!! cake77, you WILL do well on your son's cake and we look forward to seeing it when you have finished! cindycakes, I used the Akrylic Spiral Pillars that push directly into the cake with the cake plates that go along with them.

Thank you Crystalhrt25. I wish they had put up something on that ugly wall behind it though, sort of takes away from it. I did have just a couple nights when sleep was interupted by endless worrying of this and that!
