I've seen this technique done before and I had to give it a try. It was much easier than I had anticipated. Cake was a dense chocolate with mocha whipped ganache filling. I covered the cake with chocolate ganache and allowed to setup over night then covered with the fondant strips. The fantasy flower is chocolate clay as are the side decorations.
