Simple silver scrollwork......

I iced this cake in smooth white buttercream. Then I piped on the scrollwork design. I then hand painted it silver. I added fresh flowers and lavender satin ribbon. The bride provided the monograms.

How did you get the silver so silver?

Weebstir, I piped it first with a gray buttercream. Then I painted over it with luster dust that I mixed with clear vanilla. I used regular silver and then mixed it with silver highlighter.
