Three Little Fishies...

This was for my newest granddaughter's first birthday. It's based on her favorite nursery rhyme, which starts out, "Three little fishies went for a swim..." (the whole version in Spanish is on a card below which I placed beside the cake so everybody would get it). I've never had so much fun making a cake, between the coral, shell, sand dollar and fish molds (the ones swimming in the background) and a kid's book I got on how to make undersea creatures from clay (the big fish, the shark, the sea horses and the crabs), plus the freehand kelp and some other corals, I really went to town. I actually started out with the idea of making a pink cake, but that's okay - the vanilla WASC inside is tinted pink!
