Thank you both so much! For the tip I used a large round tip purchased from Bake It Pretty (much larger than the Wilton round). I like to ice my cupcakes on a platform low enough so that I'm able to look down on my work and see the placement of the icing (much easier to see whether you're acheiving that nice, uniform look!) and make sure your icing consistency is right before you start! :)
I love these. How o you make the buttercream? Am I right in assuming that you would crumb your cookies well, and then add to your regular buttercream? I am so going to have to make these.
Sweetgrl1963 - all I did to make my oreo buttercream was take a sleeve of regular sized cookies and crumb them quite fine in my food processor and add to my traditional vanilla buttercream - made a super yummy oreo buttercream!
