Butterfly Line Design Transfer Cake

Butterfly Line Design Transfer Cake on Cake Central

This poor cake suffered a mishap on the way to class and I thought I was going to just have to sit out and watch the others decorate their cakes. But somehow, by the grace of God I think, I was able to make it look half way presentable with my line design transfer. It is a really nifty technique!

Thanks! -Take an image (coloring book pgs. are great) & lay wax paper over it. Next, trace over the design by piping icing over it. Then, place the wax paper over the top of the cake so the icing side touches it. Lightly smooth out to insure the icing sticks or makes contact. (It need not stick as long as some of the color from the icing is left behind. -need an outline so that you can fill in with various colors using whatever tips you want.) Hope this makes sense!
