This was my 1st purse cake. I made it for my sister-in-law's birthday. I loosely designed it based on her Gigi Hill bag but decided to make it solid red than try to mimic the paisley pattern. I forgot to order the alligator skin impression mat but found textured scrapbook paper that worked fairly well (although you can't see the texture in the pic). It was decorated all in fondant & gumpaste. I used one 9x13 pan and it stacked nicely with very little scraps. I followed the pics by staceyflute of her Coach Wristlet here on CC. Thank you for that!
