The amount of stress this cake caused me is unreal. It was my second fondant cake and I did a dreadful job covering it in the fondant. The colour was uneven due to the cornflour, hence almost completely covering it in blossoms. The original plan was minimal baby pink fondant circles and matching gumpaste roses on top, but it was a truly ugly cake. Prior to this, I had to re-bake the cake (no idea why it failed) and cupcakes for another order for the same day which had peeled away from their cases. Luckily it was for a close friend of my family and she gave me an extra couple of days to finish it as I had another order where things had also gone wrong.

Sigh..the stress I put myself under for cakes :P
