This was my first time attempting to make a baby out of fondant. I hand modeled this little one (well it is not so little) and it's blanket out of marshmallow fondant. It is a chocolate fudge cake on the bottom and a french vanilla cake on top iced in whipped icing with fondant mod dots. I can never get whipped icing smooth is there a trick or can it not really be smoothed? I'm a beginner so any comments or pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for looking!
