Love Letters to Q.Pidd

I got the wonderful idea to make a mailbox cake and ran with it! I watch too much Ace of Cakes to do anything simple! This is my first carved cake, first contest cake and my first attempt with fondant, which did not work out very well. This is a vanilla cake, covered in buttercream, with buttercream decorations. The letters are fondant with royal icing writing. I'm not 100% happy with this, but it tuned out ok!!
