My grandson requested a hamburger cake for this birthday this year.  I was totally inspired by rcsen's cake here on CC.  Mine did not do hers justice, but I'm pleased with it.  10" cake using vanilla for the two bun layers and chocolate for the meat layer.  The fries were RKT covered in fondant and brushed with petal dust.  I don't have an airbrush, so I sponge-painted the bun and meat with food coloring.  Thanks for looking.

Really Big Burger!

Great cake! Sponge-painting the bun worked so well. I never would have thought to do that.
