Peaches and Cream....a Vintage dream....

I often get asked to do cakes for photo shoots, and I was asked to create something for a Vintage inspired shoot. The theme was peaches and cream, and so I covered this in ivory fondant. Then I brushed it with orange dust that I mixed with pearl dust. I then brushed over that with a pale gold dust. I hand made all of the ribbon flowers to mimic the head bands that are so popular right now with the brides, with edible pearl centers. I made the bow on top out of fondant. I had no idea what the bride was wearing, but her headband matched the cake! :)
