I made this cake for my mom's surprise 60th birthday party. She is a HUGE fan of Star Trek so I thought this cake would be perfect for her. It's a chocolate cake covered in fondant and airbrushed with a gold sheen. I didn't have time to make my own fondant so I bought Duff's fondant and it worked beautifully!
