I made this for my daughters baptism. It was a nightmare - I didn't realize my new 16 inch pan wouldn't fit in my overn because of the convection fan... had to take it over to my SIL house to bake... twice.... the first time I accidentaly stirred to the bottom of the pan when adding the 2nd & 3rd batter so the cake release didn't stay in place & the cake crumbled coming out of the pan!!! Lesson learned!!
