Kopykake projector Momsandraven. It projects the picture onto the cake, I outline and fill in (mostly #16 star tip or #3 round tip) The projector makes it very, very easy. Used to do these by cutting pattern into several pieces and outlining with toothpick (many moons ago). I'm sure you could do it with bct method; never done that though.
