What a great job! May I ask if you knew why someone wanted a Parthetnon cake for their birthday? Just seems interesting. :) I honestly figured with how amazing this looked that it would be for some event at the Parthenon here in Nashville.

Thanks everyone. SammieB...I don't know why they wanted it for the birthday. I don't ask, I just do :) Rosa...I carved the friezes by hand.

wow! how long did this take?

This took about 35 hours to make. But I initially sculpted the little sculptures on the roof about 3x too big (I did them before I had the roof done) so I had to redo them much smaller. I sculpted them out of clay and made molds so I could get all of the roof sculptures to match. There were 4 lions, 4 lion heads and 2 of the fancy pieces. Oh well, if I ever have to do a bigger Parthenon I've got the pieces ready to make molds for it.
