Very cute! And well done. I've wanted to do stick figures for some time now. Nice to see that they can be as nicely done as yours. Thanks for sharing!

Please, please, please share your technique. Are you just flooding them with royal icing? What thickness or a special recipe? :D
Jillfcs 9/20/11 at 2:40pm
DotteCakes: I just do this for fun and am by no means an expert, but for this type of design (outline), I like to use a really, really loose flooding consistency? about a 7 second fill. Royal Icing Recipe: 6 tablespoons meringue powder, 2 lbs powdered sugar, 4 tablespoons extract (vanilla, almond, etc.), 10 to 12 tablespoons water. Using a Kitchen Aid, beat all ingredients together at low speed until icing forms peaks (about 10 minutes).

Jillfcs 9/21/11 at 3:59am

PoodleDoodle: I SO will be your friend -- with a username like that, I can tell you are FUN!
Jillfcs 9/21/11 at 1:37pm
PoodleDoodle: No, that is not an actual cookie cutter, I cut it out by hand. It was based on a clip art image.
