The bride wanted the colors on this to fade up on the tiers. the round tiers are done with fondant and has a ruffled look. The square tiers are buttercream. The first time I tried it on the buttercream tiers, it didn't work because the shades of the colors weren't close enough and it jus looked striped but once I made the colors closer it looked more faded. I wish I would have gotten a closer picture of the tiers.
