Christening cake with washing line

Your washing line is so cute! How did you fasten the clothes to the line? And what did you make the line from?

Thank you! The washing line was made out of paper covered wire (like you'd use for wired flowers) and I cut out the shapes out of fondant with cmc powder added then threaded them onto the line and once they were in place gently squeezed the top to get it to attach to the line but without changing the shape of the item. It was then left to dry on a flat surface for a day or so and I delivered it in two pieces and assembled it a the venue. I hope that helps!
