A one-off cake for a keen hang-glider and his bride. This 3D beach - bluff - headland design is evocative of our local region (where I live), where world-class hang-gliders are often seen serenely riding a thermal over the coastline. The cake was comprised of four tiers, and included jaffa mud cake, cherry ripe mud cake and white chocolate mud cake. All covered in ganaches and coloured and handpainted fondant, with royal icing details. Hand-moulded bride and groom figurines, and accompanying non-edible glider behind, which was embroidered with the bride and groom's name, and their wedding date.
