I made this for my father's in law's birthday. I've been wanting to make one for a long time and decided late the night before to make it. It was actually very easy and rather quick. I made the bill in gumpaste the night before to dry overnight. It's a 6" round plus the Wilton 6" ball on top. I made the bill to match the actual cap so it ended up being slightly bigger than the cap itslef but it worked. I'm very pleased with it. Everyone thought it was a real ball cap until they poked at it.
