This was my final project for my first gumpaste/ fondant class this summer. The cake is a 3 layer vanilla tort with a mango & passion fruit filling. The whole cake is covered w/ fondant and has a lavender ribbon & bow border. The bouquet consists of: 28 roses, 10 Calla Lillies, and several dozen petite blooms with a sugar pearl center. All were attached with buttercreme. All the flowers are a 50/50 mix of fondant & gumpaste.
