Friend of mine has been dieting and doing so well. Her husband wanted to treat her as a surprise for her birthday and he said pancakes are the forbidden item she has craved the most. Cinnamon swirl cake with cream cheese frosting. Cup of milk is RKT wrapped in MMF for cup and milk is just frosting on top of RKT. Syrup is colored piping gel.

It is actually really easy. I just stacked 3 6inch layers of cake then I rolled pieces of fondant with my hands (like you did snakes with play-doh as a kid). Make sure they are long enough to wrap around the cake and keep them uneven. Larger in some spots, dented here and there, etc. Make about 15 or so depending on how wide they are. Keep them covered with plastic as you work placing them on the cake. To place them you will start at the bottom and wrap one around.

Then after each piece use diluted food color to brush on the top to make the "cooked" portion. Repeat placing one strip at a time until you reach the top. The top pancake is just a flat circle (a bit uneven) placed so that it covers the edge of the top rolled piece. Brush on your color,, Add your butter and syrup and serve!
