Made this for my daughter's 11th birthday. This cake was a nightmare for me, I was sick, only had a few hours to work on it, palm tree fell over, didn't really think through the grass skirt (BC showing through) and I remember saying that I was never making another cake again. Birthday girl was happy with her cake though! Devil's food cake, mocha filling, vanilla BC, brown sugar "sand" and MMF decorations. I'm a self taught newbie and learn a lot with every cake that I make and even though I said I wouldn't, I know that I will make more :)
