This was my first fondant cake, so I started small. The tire cake was an 6" round on top of a 3-tiered cupcake stand. Since it was for my 2 year old's birthday party, I thought cupcakes would be more fun for the kids. In keeping with the theme (and keeping it simple), the cupcakes all had different vehicle candles.
