This is my entry for the Cake Decorating Competition at the NYS Fair in the Fondant category. The theme was "the spirit of America since 9/11. I knew I didn't want to do an american flag (which is what lots of others did, including the blue ribbon winner). I won 2nd place and was glad I had the experience. It is hard to see in the pic, but the bottom tier has hats depicting the volunteers who helped that day. The top tier says "together we stand".
