Cake for my husband's uncle. Chocolate cake with dark chocolate frosting, covered with fondant. I used the NASCAR 3D pan. Birthday boy likes NASCAR, but doesn't have a favorite driver, so I customized it. Car number is his age, sponsors are things he likes. Sponsor images are made of fondant, and some of the details are hand painted using food coloring. Wheels are black chocolate fondant decorated with royal icing and luster dust for the lug nuts. Cake board also decorated with fondant.
