Lemon cupcakes with lemon buttercream swirls and royal icing daffodils and leaves. My first time making this flower, I had to make 8 cupcakes for my wilton class tomorrow so I just decorated the extra for fun.
I used tip 104 for the petals and then dipped my fingers in cornstarch to pinch the ends together. Used tip 3 for the cup, just coiled a circle up, and tip 2 to make zigzgags on the rim of the cup.
That looks very pretty and tasty too :) How did you make lemon buttercream? Did you use the Wilton buttercream icing recipe and add lemon flavoring instead of clear vanilla?

I used the Wilton recipe, except I use half butter. Then added fresh lemon juice instead of the vanilla.
