A little cake I did just for fun and to practice the ruffles (I love them!) and the dots technique. Not sure what they are calling that; I'm calling it pulled dots or petals. I'm very pleased with how it turned out! The cake is dark chocolate with dark chocolate ganache and caramel swiss meringue buttercream.

I really like your little addition of the red ruffles on the side. It adds an extra "pop" to the cake. Very nice job. I really like this cake!

Thanks! I just cut the end of a disposable piping bag so that the opening was about 1/2 inch. For the border at the top edge, I used tip #6.
