I can't speak for bkburacker but I have seen this done by halving the batter and making one half black with food coloring then adding it into the pan one big spoonful (or scoop) at a time directly over the last scoopful, alternating between black and white until the pan is filled (to the level you normally fill to) I THINK that's what was done here.. I want to know how the buttercream stripes were done since they're so perfect and go all the way down to the cake!!
