This is my second fondant cake. It is a pound cake with buttercream frosting under MM fondant. I painted each scale with lemon flavoring and food color. I also painted the head, fins, and tail with black food coloring. I highlighted the seaweed with a little yellow. I was also going for a marble effect for the water. I didn't want a flat blue.
