Sesame Street Topsy Turvy

I finally had the opportunity to make my first topsy turvy cake. Such fun! 12", 9", 6" tiers with RKT teapot on top. Gumpaste Elmo and Abby Cadabby.

This is your first topsy turvey??? You did an amazing clean job and it's so much fun to look at. Could you please share how you made the umbrella that elmo is holding? Leah is one lucky 2 year old. Thanks for sharing your marvelous talent.

Thanks! Actually, the cake was quite stable for transport. :) Cindy: I created a wire frame for the umbrella, then attached triangular sections of gp. However, I wish I had seen this tutorial earlier because it is so much easier!! (...)
