This is a cake I made for practice and ultimately went to work with me for a luncheon. It is the first time I made a flower and the bottom cake is checkerboard pattern, which is also a first. I colored champagne cake bright pink and green so it's alternate colors inside and the filling is cream cheese. The top tier is chocolate w/coconut pecan filling and the yellow fondant is homemade.
