Thanks for your comments. The layers are just rolled fondant flattened a little with yellow/brown food coloring painted on top of each roll, one on top of the other. I was amazed at how much ot looked like pancake layers. The top is on piece of fondant painted with coloring. The syrup is caramel but I think next time I'll add alittle thickener to itt

So is there no cake in this, just fondant? Looks totally real!

Yes - Sorry - There are three 7" rounds of a white cake I tried to make taste like cheescake. Also a cherry and Bettercreme filling torted throughout. I shouldv've taken a picture of it cut. If someone else has one I'll add it.

The fondant is rolled like a snake and just circled around layer by layer with a full piece on top.
