I used the nursery room colors for this cake. The stripes on the side of the block actually match the accent wall painted in the baby's room! The two children (made of fondant) in front are "minitures" of the mom and dad to be.

The pearls are the "edible" (candy) pearls you can find in most cake decorating stores. If you can't find them anywhere, I have also made them from rolling fondant. (the candied ones are faster, though)
