This cake was made for my boyfriend who turned 30. When browsing through the 'Elke dag Taart' cake book by Wendy Schlagwein he pointed towards the kid zoo cake and said that was the one he wanted for his birthday. I had a lot of fun (and frustration) modelling all the marzipan figures.
