Fire Truck carved out of a 10x15 sheet cake. This was for a little boy named Chase - he was turning 2. So, I named the firetruck the "Chase 2". The ladder is gumpaste, the rest of the decorations were gumpaste (covered in white and silver petal dust). , I really wanted to do this cake as a 3D cake, but the client's budget wouldn't allow for it so I did what I could to give her the look without the cost. After the party, I received a glowing email from the client about how much they loved the cake and that it was a big hit. So, in the end, I guess I nailed it.
