I can only claim 1/3 interest in this cake. My friends daughter was getting married and the father of the bride had boasted months ago that he was going to make the wedding cake. He had no experience, nor mom in cake decorating. We all happened to be enrolled in a gum paste and fondant class in July. We spent hours making flowers for this cake. Thursday night we put the fondant on the three tiered diamond shaped cake and the decorations were put in their final places. What a blast!
