This is the bottom tier of my 3 tier topsy turvy cake. Not sure what happened with this cake as I used the SPS support system... Any advice on what I did wrong? This all happened after the client picked the cake up. The middle tier did seem a little wobbly to me, but I never expected any of this.. The last picture in the bunch is before she picked it up.

Topsy Turvy Caketastrophy

I'm so sorry this happened to you! What a nightmare. I can't really offer any advice, but I did wonder if the SPS system is suitable for use with topsy turvy cakes? No idea!

Everytime I have known someone to make a topsy turvy cake, they actually carve a hole in the layer underneath, so that each layer actually sits flat, tucked inside a little. It makes it a lot more sturdy.
