I had a contest in April, the winner got a free 2 tier cake with a theme of their choice. I cannot think of a more deserving family to win this cake. The mother is cancer survivor, the dad is in the military and they have 2 young boys. The dad is getting ready to be deployed and although his birthday is not for the next couple months they chose to celebrate this weekend. When going over the design of the cake with the mother she said he loves to fish with the boys and would like the American Flag to be on the cake also. So this is what I came up with. Nothing like fishing with the boys under the freedom of the American Flag for which this dad fights for!!
