I had a friend request a cake with matching cupcakes for a picnic themed 4th birthday party for her little girl. She also wanted to find a way to incorporate a golden retriever puppy into the design, as her daughter was getting a golden retriever puppy as a birthday surprise. This is what I came up with. Thanks to the other CC users for the hamburger/hot dog idea! The puppy was made of clay so that the birthday girl could keep it after the party.
