My initial idea was to go with the usual disco theme for a 70's birthday party. My fondant characters didn't come out looking quite like I would have liked so I decided to change the plans. The top tier is German chocolate with coconut, caramel, pecan filing. The bottom tier is devil's food with fudge filling. The cake is covered with chocolate/ chocolate flavored fondant. That's all the birthday girl requested; chocolate. Easy enough. First time using the extruder. Love it and I am so glad I now know what everyone was talking about.
