Finished Guitar Cake
I posted the work-in-progress Friday but I wanted to post it completed. I'm not happy with the strings, but I thought it turned out nicely as a whole. And, as always, I've learned tons from this project.

It was for DH's birthday. I was going to take it to our bowling league on Friday but a blizzard went through late Fri afternoon so it stayed home. We have LOTS of cake to eat.:lol:
I think it's excellent - what are the strings made from? Is the arm of the guitar cake as well?
thanks, the strings are embroidery floss. The arm is foamcore wrapped in MMF and painted with a mixture of gel color and vodka
