This was made for my husbands Captain at his job. Top and bottom of badge was made with 2 13x9 cakes, middle was a 9 inch round cake. Top and bottom cut to be able to place the round cake in the middle. Covered in buttercream and all the detail was done free hand by looking at my husbands badge. Lettering was done by the pre made sugar sheet letters. The only hard part really was getting the buttercream the gold color since I did not have any dust to make a true gold.
