Black & White Wedding

Black and white piped scrolling in royal icing. Purple gumpaste orchids. The fondant is all MMF. However, next time I need to cover a tier in black I think I will just buy it premade. TFL!

awesome work . you did this free hand didnt you !? love the way you did it . beautiful work . what did you use for makeing the black fondant ? it realy looks nice . :wink:

Thanks! Yes it was all free hand. Just started with a sketch/idea and designed as I went. For the black fondant, I added cocoa and lots of black color when first mixing. I then had to add alot more black. The color came out ok, but it was hard to work with.

Very pretty! I now buy black fondant...takes too long to achieve that dark color and a ton of black food coloring!
