New York Mets Ball Cap

WASC method Strawberry cake with vanilla cream icing and MMF. 8" square base made to look like the pin stripes of the jerseys. 1/2 ball pan on top of a 7 inch round then carved to get the proper shape. Bill is made from cardboard covered in fondant. I did not prepare far enough in advance for the fondant to dry/harden so support was needed. Also, a couple bamboo skewers were used to prop up the bill and hold it in place. Birthday guy was in love with the cap that he forbid his family to eat it the first day! lol
