I am taking cake decorating classes at Michael's in Encino, and this is my first fondand cake. I am really having fun making cakes and decorating. I loved to work with fondand better than frosting. I also made the flowers with gum paste. I made a cake with fondant to bring to a friend of mine, and nobody liked the fondant, I was feeling embarrassed, and I have to make my nefew's wedding cake , but i am not planning to use fondant. fondant is good to work on the cake, it makes everything much easy to decotate, but the teste is not so good, and people don't like it.
