Thanks for the nice comments! I think I used 8 inch pans for all of the layers - I just used the "puffier" layer fro the front of the bootie. After I stacked the back 2 layers I cut off the front to form the area for the laces. Then I trimmed the front of the bootie in a semi-circle to fit up against the back. I used party tumblers to hold the flowers nad Easter Lifesavers & M&M's for the trim. They were big cakes - my husband had to carry them in for me - they fed almost 60 women.
