Pink & Blue Baby Booties

Pink & Blue Baby Booties on Cake Central

Based on the cupcake booties found on this site but I used 8 inch round pans instead. We knew there were twins in there a boy & a girl!

What a stunning idea - especially for twins - always looking for new things to try. They are just tooooo cute! Great Job!

Thanks for the nice comments! I think I used 8 inch pans for all of the layers - I just used the "puffier" layer fro the front of the bootie. After I stacked the back 2 layers I cut off the front to form the area for the laces. Then I trimmed the front of the bootie in a semi-circle to fit up against the back. I used party tumblers to hold the flowers nad Easter Lifesavers & M&M's for the trim. They were big cakes - my husband had to carry them in for me - they fed almost 60 women.
