Bridal shower cake with a theme of "Nightmare Before Christmas". The bride to be is a huge Tim Burton fan and loves this movie. I think this one turned out pretty good. It sure was allot of fun to create. Wedding colors are red, black and silver. The silhouettes on the moon are hand painted with black food coloring. EVERYTHING is edible, down to the little roses and the silver sanding sugar for the path. The small crosses and headstones are chocolate (headstones have words of love on them), silver and red heart is isomalt sugar, large crosses are fondant, the moon is gumpaste and the decorations on the small crosses are silver dragees and isomalt gemstones. I used two shades of silver petal dust and white shimmer dust to create the sparkle on the crosses and isomalt. The red heart has fire engine red disco dust. Chocolate cake, chocolate mousse filling, chocolate BC (airbrushed in two shades of brown, then black and finally with silver sheen). TFL
