I wanted to share my son's birthday cake with you! I saw on an episode of Amazing Wedding Cakes a cake done by Merci Beaucoup and used their techniques as my guide. When I first started it, my heart sank because it didn't look like a stack of books at first, but after a while it did! I was thinking, "who in the world do you think you are thinking you can copy something you saw on TV!" I hand painted it with food coloring gels all freehand! My son loved it! We wanted to make his birthday extra special since he gave us a scare and required heart surgery a few months back. His party was held at an indoor water park in NJ! He had an unbelievably awesome day!
